About 300 health professionals meet in Peru in the First International Course on Maternal Fetal Medicine
In total, about 300 health professionals attended the First International Course on Maternal-Fetal Medicine organized by Sanitas Peru in Lima, the Peruvian capital city. Developed along three days, the course gave health professionals the opportunity to exchange their knowledge in fields related to Advanced Diagnosis of Congenital Anomalies, High Fidelity Simulation, Biomarkers (New Era) or the International Certification in IOTA Course - Gynecological Ultrasound.
The objective of the conference was oriented to offer Peruvian health professionals a space to update their knowledge in order to be able to provide a higher quality in their patients’ care and treatments. Experts in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology coming from Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Peru were part of the speakers’ panel. In addition, the event was supported by the International Society in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and the Peruvian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Thanks to this First International Course of Maternal Fetal Medicine in Peru, Keralty group has started the internationalization of the Continuous Medical Education Program, developed since 1997 in Colombia to provide professionals from different health specialties the opportunity to exchange their knowledge through congresses, symposiums and international courses.
